Pop question: Is hiring hard?
People, by nature, are complicated. Skills apart, they come with their own cultural roots, upbringing, habits, perceptions thoughts, and their own ways of doing things or understanding concepts.
On top of that, economies are complicated. Organizations are complicated. Matching the right people to the right job profiles is complicated. Meanwhile, nothing – be it people, processes, or the demands of your business – remains the same as change is the only constant.
Everything about hiring — from picking the right help for babysitting, finding the right players for a football team, and also finding your dream team — is all hard.
Businesses, meanwhile, won’t last a day without good people in its ranks. If Google finds that its recruiting processes result in a random mess , you can imagine how hard hiring talent really is.
Imagine what a business has to do even before it sets out to hire:
- Establish your brand well enough to have people know and be aware that you exist, and that individuals see potential in working for your business.
- The hiring process itself, in most cases, is a full-blown pot-hole ridden process with complication as the middle name.
- If there’s good talent available, your competition is ready to wage an all out war.
- You’d have to spend time, money, and resources to get candidates to know you and approach you.
- Before, during, and after interviews, there’s haggling, back and forth discussions, and negotiations.
- Post negotiations, most businesses pay through their corporate noses.
Hiring strategically, however, is not impossible, and there are ways to make hiring work for your business. Sometimes, you’d just have to deviate from the norm. You’d have to hit a road you didn’t take before.
It’s time to reinstate some faith in hiring. What if there’s an alternative to the real pain hiring is? Unless hiring itself is the service you provide, it’s a process that doesn’t lend itself to any kind of profitability, so how about letting someone else handle it?
Instead of going through all the pain mentioned above, there’s a better way to approach hiring, especially for very specific skillsets such as Software development, Cloud services, technology support, and other tech-related services.
At Kalpavruksh, we know the pain involved in hiring. We like that pain. We learn from it. We constantly improve our hiring and training processes, because our business model depends on the right people and the quality output of this collective skillset.
Nordic focus is the secret sauce. We don’t hire random, although it appears that way. We look for pro-active go-getters who won’t stop at anything until they do justice to their jobs. When we hire, we look for attention to detail, passion, drive, commitment, dedication, and what each candidate really does.
We don’t hire order-takers; we hire change-makers.
Now, we plan to bring the ultimate fruits of our labor for the past few years to you.
If your projects require neck-deep, all-hands-on-deck, full-steam involvement for short periods of time. As such, we are looking for onsite talent work out of our offices or those of our clients in Denmark, Germany, Norway, and Sweden.
